Cultural Programs that Make You Feel at Home

We Care For You

As humans, we are defined by our cultural and religious beliefs. Our preferences and beliefs separate us from others. And being able to stay close to their culture and celebrate it is the biggest gift people can get in their old age. At Embassy Manor, we help you grab that gift with both hands.

We provide long-term care services based on your cultural beliefs. Our staff shares the same cultural background as you so that you can get high-end medical care without staying away from your culture and religion.

Here, you get access to local staff that speaks and understands your languages, values, beliefs, and requirements. We arrange a wide range of services for you, such as homemade food, local entertainment, religious activities, and other elements that help you stay connected with your culture and background.

Embassy Manor is all about delivering the best possible care in the best possible way.

The best part about this Medicaid nursing home near me is they take excellent care of each and everything. All the medical treatments, my mother’s food disorders, her mood swings, everything. We are very happy with the Embassy Manor.

I just wanted to personally thank Dr. & Mrs. Pandya and Mr. Dasondi for creating an unforgettable 100th birthday celebration for Helen Dougert, our beloved matriarch, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. That special day (May 7) was made complete with the invitation of Edison Mayor Lankey who officially presented "Great-Grandma" with a Proclamation certificate for her centennial birthday. The staff at Embassy Manor went above and beyond with the birthday decor, including balloons, streamers, confetti and even a crown for the birthday girl! Our family was allowed to forget about the ongoing pandemic and return to a sense of normalcy by focusing on the simple things in life...to freely celebrate a milestone with the ones we love the most. We couldn't have asked for a better day for Great-Grandma, who was definitely made to feel special on that momentous day. Please accept our family's most heartfelt gratitude that we are comforted knowing our Great-grandma has another family who loves and cares for her at Embassy Manor.

I met nice people here, the recreation staff member Marisa greeted me with a welcome basket and was very friendly. She also went out of her way to get me a candy bar to make me feel welcomed. Also, the housekeeper Jeff made sure my room was clean and also helped me fill out my kitchen menu. I was only here for a couple of days; due to the fact that I wanted to smoke and this is a no smoking facility and the staff tried their hardest to not have me think about smoking and make this experience the best they could.

My mother is a resident of Embassy Manor. I am extremely pleased with the courtesy, care, and kindness the staff has provided. I want to express our thanks to many of the staff with whom we have had interactions. They have made this entire COVID year a little more tolerable in knowing my mother is comfortable and she is as happy as one can be during this time. I would like to acknowledge these members of the staff, Sharon Brown at the main entrance; Diana and Carol front office; Stefanie, Social Service; Minal and Omar, Recreation; Cleo and Emma , Nursing; Claire, Dietary; Jeannette, Laundry; and Israel, Maintenance. They have always been pleasant, helpful and followed through with my mother’s and my many requests. They have always been gracious and at times went above and beyond what we asked. They have helped with FaceTime, delivering candy and other items, helping with the numerous hearing aide problems and making sure I had contact with my mother during this COVID year. We will be doing outside visits soon again and I anticipate their assistance once again. Once again THANK YOU!

Hello, I am a Kean University student completing my internship at Embassy Manor in the recreation department. The director of the recreation department is Mrs. Minal Patel. Mrs. Patel is understanding with work and personal concerns. She is always willing and prepared to give assistance when assistance is needed in the recreation department and any other department within the facility. She is constantly seeking for opportunities to present the work of the recreation department by taking pictures of all holiday observances and celebrations to post online. The facility consists of a very diverse population of residents who receives recreation services for high and lower level residents to enjoy. Mrs. Patel assists the recreation therapists with displaying the best decorations. Mrs. Minal Patel takes her position as the recreation director very seriously and does her utmost best to fulfill all needs and wants of the residents! Thank you!
